What is an Area Based Scheme?
The Scottish Government has allocated grant funding to local authorities to support residents to improve the energy efficiency of their homes through Area Based Schemes. East Lothian Council have designed projects that provide grant funding for measures that will address the impact of rising energy costs and fuel bills for home owners.
Solar PV, battery storage, cavity wall insulation and loft insulation are now available for eligible properties. To manage and deliver their Area Based Scheme, East Lothian Council has appointed Valley Group Ltd.
Valley Group Ltd
Valley Group Ltd has been appointed by East Lothian Council to carry out the installation of energy efficiency improvements within area based schemes. Where measures are suitable, and funding is available, Valley Group are able to install a range of energy efficiency improvements including solar PV, battery storage, cavity wall insulation and loft insulation.
